HOPE Clinic
Ball
In 2005 the Mariner Realty sales team
elected HOPE Clinic as the recipient of a percentage of their
commissions on the sale of property. The clinic received over $11,000
from that commitment. At the HOPE Clinic Ball on February 4, 2006,
Suzanne Jantzen, president of the clinic, announced that the program
would continue in 2006.
Allen Propst, owner of Mariner Realty,
said, “My sales staff and I believe that donating a percentage of our
commissions is a painless way of supporting the valuable medical
services HOPE Clinic provides to uninsured residents of Pamlico County.”
He challenged other businesses and individuals to seek similar ways of
supporting the clinic. Lynn Rousseau, executive director of HOPE Clinic,
stated, “This community support is so vital to our operation and we are
honored to be selected by Mariner Realty for a second year.
